The Counter Terrorism Service-Yemen has announced an update concerning the ACD certificate for shipments to Yemen. Effective February 1, 2025, it will be mandatory to secure the ACD certificate at the port of loading and include the ACD number on the Bill of Lading for all containerized shipments.
To meet these requirements, the shipper, exporter, or freight forwarder is responsible for obtaining this certificate.

It mandates that detailed information about cargo, such as its contents, origin, and destination, be submitted to customs authorities before the goods arrive in a country.
